Optima Industrial Water Softener for Commercial Steam Cleaners & CIP Systems
Online Price: Price range: $2,295.00 through $2,495.00
A salt-based industrial water softener with automatic regeneration and Wi-Fi salt monitoring. It comes in 32,000-grain and 48,000-grain models and protects Optima Steamers, commercial dry steam cleaners, CIP systems and process equipment from hard-water scale. This high-capacity water softening system is designed for demanding industrial use.
Commercial Water Softener for Steam Cleaners & CIP Systems
Protect your Optima Steamer, commercial dry steam cleaner, or other process equipment from hard-water scale with a high-capacity water softening system built for demanding industrial use. Available in two capacities so you can match the system to your facility’s water hardness and daily demand.
Hard water causes scale buildup inside boilers, heaters, valves, piping, and process equipment, leading to more maintenance and reduced equipment life. Installing a water softener upstream helps protect your equipment and maintain reliable performance.
Recommended Protection for Optima Steamers
Water quality is one of the most important factors in Optima Steamer maintenance. If your facility water does not consistently meet Optima water-quality requirements, we strongly recommend using a salt-based water softener.
Optima Steamer water requirements:
- Total Hardness: 2.3 grains per gallon (gpg) or less
- Recommended TDS: 40 ppm or less
This system is designed for Optima Steamers but can also be used with many other commercial dry steam cleaners, steam generators, CIP systems, and industrial equipment requiring softened water. Always verify the water requirements specified by your equipment manufacturer.
Choose Your Capacity: 32,000-Grain vs. 48,000-Grain Water Softener
32,000-Grain Model
Ideal for a single Optima Steamer or lower-volume equipment at a fixed location. Delivers automatic regeneration and smart salt monitoring in a more compact system, making it a cost-effective choice for facilities with moderate water hardness or usage.
48,000-Grain Model
Built for higher-volume operations, harder water, multiple steamers supplied from one softened-water source, or CIP and process systems. The larger capacity means longer operation between regeneration cycles and less hands-on maintenance.
Ideal for Fixed Industrial Applications
- Optima Steamers used in fixed facilities
- Multiple steamers supplied from one softened-water source (48,000-grain recommended)
- Food and beverage plants
- Manufacturing facilities
- Clean-in-place (CIP) systems
- Process and sanitation equipment
- Other applications where hard-water scale can affect equipment performance
Industrial Water Softener Features
- Demand-based regeneration helps reduce unnecessary salt and water consumption
- Time-based regeneration option
- High-flow control valve
- Double-backwash regeneration
- EZsalt Wi-Fi salt monitoring with low-salt alerts
- Includes programmable control valve, bypass valve, resin tank, brine tank, and smart salt monitoring system
- Certified to NSF/ANSI/CAN 61, NSF/ANSI 44, and NSF/ANSI 372

Choose the 32,000-grain model if you run a single steamer or lower-volume equipment at a fixed facility and want automatic regeneration without paying for capacity you won’t use.
Choose the 48,000-grain model if your equipment receives frequent use, supplies multiple steamers, operates on very hard water, or supports CIP and other industrial process applications.
