If your Disesel Optima has been experiencing Flame Detection-related errors, it may be that teh Flame Sensor needs to be replaced. After following the proper troubleshooting steps you determine the Flame Sensor needs to be replaced, it’s an easy proceedure. Version 2 of this sensor provides extra distance between the burner and the sensor, reducing the wear-and-tear on the part and increasing lifespan. If you’ve had to replace this component multiple times in a short period, you might want to work with Steamericas or your local dealer to properly diagnose the issue.
